8:00 PM EST. This wager is predicated on one thing and one thing only: Frederik Andersen starting in goal for Carolina. We've said it throughout these playoffs and throughout this series, and we're not changing our opinion now. Andersen has been a liability, and if he's between the pipes again, Vegas should be a much bigger favorite at home than the current price suggests.

In fact, there's a strong argument that Vegas has been the better team in this series. They certainly haven't been outplayed, and one could easily make the case that they should be holding a 3-0 series lead. The Golden Knights have generated plenty of quality chances, controlled long stretches of play, and continue to create pressure in the offensive zone. The results simply haven't matched the run of play.

Therefore, this is a conditional wager. If Frederik Andersen gets the start for Carolina, we're playing Vegas in regulation at +150. If Carolina turns to Brandon Bussi instead, we're passing on the game entirely. The handicap is tied directly to the goaltending matchup, so make sure Andersen is confirmed before making the bet.
