The Stampeders are a dangerous outfit. They’ve already gone into Regina and punched the Riders in the mouth, racking up over 550 yards of offense and winning the game by two touchdowns. This time, the setting shifts to Calgary, where the Stamps are coming in fresh off a bye and healthier than they’ve been in weeks.

Vernon Adams Jr. is finally back in rhythm, and the results speak for themselves. Calgary outgained Winnipeg by over 100 yards last time out and were in control from wire to wire. That was a statement game. This is a bigger one.

The Riders haven’t been winning with dominance. They’ve won with turnovers, timely stops, and questionable kicking from their opponents. Flip the script, and they’ve got their own field goal issue in Brett Lauther, who’s been shaky all season — hitting just 66.7% of his kicks. That matters in a game lined this tight.

So what we have is a Riders team flying high, with a red-hot record that flatters them, going into McMahon against a rested and properly priced Stampeders squad with revenge and momentum on their side. It’s a bad spot for the road team, and a buy-low opportunity on the Stamps.
