His 1.80 ERA looks outstanding, yet it has come over a very limited number of innings, making it difficult to draw meaningful conclusions. His xERA and strikeout metrics remain encouraging, but they have yet to stabilize, and small-sample performances often create inflated prices in the betting market. That's where value begins to emerge on Washington.
