1:00 PM ET. There are few things scarier to the market than backing a team in transition with a rookie quarterback and a brand new head coach. That’s exactly why we’re interested.

The market has already anointed Arizona as the next big thing. Kyler Murray is healthy, Marvin Harrison Jr. is running routes, and suddenly folks are talking about this team like they’ve already punched a playoff ticket. The Cardinals are being priced like a contender, which is a dangerous spot to be in for a franchise that has proven nothing.

New Orleans, meanwhile, is being priced like it’s headed for the No. 1 pick. That’s a lazy narrative. Kellen Moore takes over as head coach, and while his résumé as a play-caller has had ups and downs, he’s still a sharp offensive mind who understands how to scheme for limitations. Spencer Rattler is going to make mistakes, no doubt, but he also gives the Saints something Derek Carr couldn’t — mobility and the ability to extend plays. Pair that with Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave, and this offense is not nearly as barren as the market wants you to believe.

Defensively, the Saints were on the field far too much last year because the offense couldn’t sustain drives. That’s how a respectable unit ends up looking worse than it actually was. Give them even average offensive support, and suddenly they’re live to keep this one inside a possession.
