His xERA has hovered closer to the mid-3.00 range, his strikeout rate remains strong at roughly 9.5 K/9, and his walk rate sits around 2.5 BB/9, but he has allowed more hard contact than expected at times. Chicago doesn't need to dominate this matchup to cash a ticket. It just needs to stay within striking distance long enough to pressure New York late.
