8:10 PM EST. We're going back to one of our favorite MLB angles: the Coors Field reverse run line. It's an approach that's treated us well over the years because games in Denver have a tendency to get out of hand in a hurry. The thin air produces crooked numbers, big innings, and momentum swings that make laying the run and a half at a generous plus price far more appealing than taking a short moneyline.

Pitching often takes a back seat at Coors Field. Even quality starters can watch a comfortable lead disappear in a matter of minutes, and mediocre offenses can suddenly look explosive. That's why we focus less on the starting pitching matchup and more on the scoring environment. When runs come in bunches, favorites and underdogs alike have a much better chance of winning by multiple runs.

Colorado is swinging the bats well right now and is showing signs of confidence at the plate. At +250, the reverse run line offers outstanding value in a ballpark where one big inning can completely change the complexion of a game. We'll stick with the Coors Field angle once again and take the Rockies to win by two or more.
